Davido Denies Renewed Paternity Claim, Says Multiple DNA Tests Proved Allegation False

Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has firmly denied fresh paternity claims circulating online, insisting the matter was resolved long ago through multiple DNA tests. The controversy resurfaced after a teenager, Anuoluwapo Michelle Adeleke, shared an emotional Instagram post requesting a DNA test to establish her identity, citing years of bullying, emotional distress, and struggles linked to her claim that the singer is her father.
In her public appeal, the teenager detailed the mental toll the situation has taken on her and said she had also reached out privately to Davido. She explained that as she transitions into adulthood, she believes a DNA test is necessary to clarify her identity, stressing that her request was personal and intended to bring closure after years of uncertainty and emotional hardship.
Reacting on X, Davido strongly dismissed the claims, stating that five DNA tests conducted at hospitals chosen by both parties returned negative results. He emphasized that the issue had already been settled and warned that this would be his final response, adding that his family takes lineage seriously and would not ignore such matters. The renewed dispute has reignited debate about how private issues involving public figures often play out under intense social media scrutiny.
