Delroy Lindo to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Acclaimed actor Delroy Lindo is set to receive one of Hollywood's highest honors after being named to the Hollywood Walk of Fame's Class of 2027. The British-born American actor joins an accomplished group of 32 honorees announced by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, celebrating individuals whose work has made a lasting cultural impact across entertainment. Lindo has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning five decades, earning acclaim for memorable performances in Spike Lee classics such as Malcolm X, Crooklyn, and Clockers. More recently, he received widespread praise for his award-winning performance in Da 5 Bloods and earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Sinners. His extensive résumé also includes standout roles in Get Shorty, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Harder They Fall, and the television drama The Good Fight. While induction dates have yet to be announced, recipients have up to two years to schedule their official Walk of Fame star ceremonies.
