Ahead of sentencing, he told the court he had achieved sobriety for the first time in 25 years, was attending therapy, and had launched a mentorship program for fellow inmates. Meanwhile, his legal team continues to pursue an appeal of his conviction. The Bad Boy Records founder, who has denied allegations of sexual misconduct, also remains the subject of more than 70 civil lawsuits nationwide, including a recent case filed by a former child actor.
